This picture of Earth has taken by Apollo 17 facing India at its front.

Its the 3rd planet in out solar syatem.

Shape is elliptical having ecentricity of 0.016 710 .

The orbital speed of the Earth averages about 30 km/s. means it can reach moon in about 4 hours!!

It is tilted axially at 23.439281 degrees from perpendicular vertical plane.

The variation in its climate (because of the direction of the Earth's axial tilt) results in the seasons. By astronomical convention, the four seasons are determined by the solistics—the point in the orbit of maximum axial tilt toward or away from the Sun—and the equinoxes when the tilt is minimized. Winter solstice occurs on about December 21, summer solstice is near June 21 spring equinox is around March 20 and autumnal equinox is about Sepetemper 23.

Mean density is 5515.3 kg/cu.m.
